HIIO Fine Homes are a true custom homebuilder. We always are up to date on construction methods and use the best quality materials for your specific plan. HIIO Fine Homes will quote you a price for your home according to your plan. Realistically until you see each homeowner's plan it is impossible to quote an accurate cost for your home.

Does HIIO Fine Homes provide floor plans and can they custom draw
a plan?
Definitely! Our office is stocked with an extensive selection of floor plans. We can easily change an existing floor plan or draw a plan from scratch. About 80% of our custom plans are drawn from scratch with an architect.
Q. How do I go about designing my
home?
Designing a home from scratch is our favorite. We are always excited to create something new. HIIO Fine Homes is with you during the entire design process. It is important for the architect, builder, and homeowner to closely work togetherto achieve the wishes of the homeowner.
Q. What are HIIO Fine Homes "Standards
and Upgrades"?
There are no "upgrades" with HIIO. We customize each home with the features requested by each homeowner. Our model home is intended to represent our standard home.
Q. What if I do not want all the
bells and whistles?
No Problem! HIIO Fine Homes will design your home according to your wishes and budget.
Q. Does HIIO provide a mortgage lender?
Yes. HIIO will provide you by request respected lending professionals. We know our lenders and have done previous business with them before. Our recommend lenders share the same commitment to the homeowner as we do.
Q. Why do builders quote different
prices?
HIIO Fine Homes likes to remind potential clients that in the end you get what you pay for. Materials cost the same for each builder. If a builder is significantly cheaper then there could be a question of quality in your home.
Q. How do make your homes Energy
Efficient?
Windows, Insulation, HVAC systems are just a few aspects of building your home energy efficient. Many people put more thought into their paint color than energy efficiency.
Windows are extremely important considering that is where the air will enter and exit your home. Our windows whether they be Aluminum or Wood are quality. They are Double-paned 100% Therma-Break with tinting and low E glass where necessary. Many builders use glass that is ¼ inch thick.
We use the latest techniques in insulation which gives you a greater R-Value than Batts. The windows, doors and electrical holes are caulked and filled with a non-expandable foam for greater energy efficiency.
Our HVAC systems are engineered according to your plan. We use a natural-gas high efficient furnaces and 12-Seer electric A/C system.
As a customer you should know that HIIO builds your home the same quality as our own and that means added value.
As builders customers rarely ask us important questions like the quality of their windows. The psi of their foundation. The type of insulation. These are just examples of the many important decisions that go into building your home. At HIIO you choose us for our quality and high standards and we in turn build you a home you can be happy with.
Q. Can HIIO Fine Homes build a Geo-Thermal
home?
HIIO Fine Homes have built many geo-thermal homes. Geo-thermal is energy efficient, will save you money in the future and is less volatile when energy prices are high. We will discuss geo-thermal to see if it is right for you.
Q. What type of warranty does HIIO
Fine Homes Offer?
We include a 1 year Pro-Home Warranty. Before you close on your home we will schedule a walk though in which we make a punch list. You are then covered for a period of 1 year from your closing.
